Inspired by Pinterest: White tank + Asymmetrical skirt
6:00 PMInspiration:
This is such an easy and effortless look.
It's just a tank top and a knit skirt zhuzhed up with a bag and pumps.
The skirt is Vogue 8711, that I made last August. I loved this skirt because it's a twist on the black pencil skirt.
I'm so glad this style is staying relevant.
Wearing: tank: Danskin (old) - similar HERE; skirt: Vogue 8711 - similar HERE; belt: Nine West - similar HERE; pumps: Sam Edelman; bag: Elliott Lucca (old) - similar HERE.

ReplyDeleteAaawww... thanks a lot Dibs!
DeleteYours is so much better, as always. Besides, that toothpick "wearing" the sample outfit, just doesn't have the right curves for it.
ReplyDeleteIs that the longer version? I think I will make this to wear to school. Love how it looks on you.
ReplyDeleteLupe, it's the longer version. Thanks!
DeleteLove the pictures............do you live so close to the Galleria that you are always able to take your daily pictures from their parking deck or do you live closer to Aldridge Gardens? These two places seem so close to your home.
ReplyDeleteI do! Thanks!
DeleteErica, this look is hawt! You killed it yet again!

DeleteIt's pretty cool that you can copy exactly a pintest look from what you already own. I love the skirt, and the shoes are the perfect accessory.

ReplyDeleteWow, this is a great look for you, Erica. I love the whole combination and I especially love the shoes. I'm going to add this skirt to my 'to sew' list. As you say, it's a great twist on a simple pencil skirt. Thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteI just found your site and I'm in awe of your sense of style! I can sew, but putting an outfit together like you do, is difficult for me, so I really appreciate the fabric and pattern information that you provide!! I can't wait to make one of your outfits for myself. Thank you, thank you for being my "Style Mentor."
