What I'm Wearing | Camel, Yellow & Ripped Denim!

After a day of terrible weather that swept through the state, today is absolutely gorgeous! A perfect January day... not unseasonably warm and not bitterly cold... just perfect!
Perfect weather to toss on my Vogue 8776 cape...
thrown over my J. Crew cableknit sweater, my yellow gingham shirt and my Gap Vintage Flare jeans (with my DIY distressing).
This has been a pretty slow sewing week. Have you ever lost the instruction sheet for a pattern? Well, I did and it's an OOP pattern... sigh. But that's okay, I'm winging my way through it. The project should be finished and posted by early next week.

Those shoes! You do so inspire me to deny my two fat knees and throw on some heels. Such a casual and CUTE look!

Nice outfit! You may want to try sewingpatterns.com to find the instructions to your out of print pattern. I found something I needed there and I was beyond happy!

DeleteErica I tease my bff all the time about losing her instruction sheet/pattern pieces. She is a beginner sewer who keeps everything piled up, LOL :)

I've done that too. Now I hoard patterns like my life depends on it!

ReplyDeleteI've always felt like I'm too top heavy to layer button downs and sweaters but I think we might be about the same size.
