For my Saturday look, I pulled inspiration from my favorite place -- Pinterest.
Inspired by Pinterest
From my Fashion board.
White, in the middle of January? Hmmm...
It was sunny and the temps were mild, so this equals a fun fashion day and I took full advantage.
I'm wearing my "most worn garment of 2012", Simplicity 2250.
Worn with a DKNY chambray shirt, Gap jeans and cobalt blue wedges..
I hope the rest of your weekend is great!
Beautiful outfit, I think I will have to make myself a Simplicity 2250, it looks great however you where it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lori. It's a great little pattern!
DeleteYou're kind of a genius when it comes to wearing a denim shirt, I've noticed. Love this look!
ReplyDeleteMy chambray shirt has become a wardrobe staple! Thanks Julie!
DeleteYou always look so fantastic! Thanks for sharing your outfits with us. It's inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI love your cobalt shoes!
Thanks Dixie!
DeleteThat first photo looks like it came from a magazine!
ReplyDeleteMy husband has his photographic moments! Thanks!
DeleteThanks Sing!
ReplyDeleteLoving the look! LOVE LOVE LOVE that poster. I hate when people ask those questions. Yes, we all follow some sort of fashion but a TRUE fashionista wears her clothes and doesn't let the clothes wear her! Make and follow your own rules! :)
ReplyDeleteAMEN! Thanks Divamazon!
DeleteGorgeous outfit! Love this on you! I think white is really pretty in the wintertime (although I'm not sure I'm counting your weather as winter, haha).
ReplyDeleteIt gets cold. One day it'll be 70 degrees and the next day it'll be below freezing. This was a mild day. Thanks Ginger!
DeleteThe outfit looks lovely:)
ReplyDeletealso cute shoes

Love the look and you are right on trend (as usual) - Vogue has a spread on wearing denim on denim. I prefer your combo with the white jacket, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue!
DeleteHi Erica,
ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog and already love your style! How much time did it take you to do this jacket ? What is your advice for sewing the perfect jacket ? I would be happy to have your ideas :).
See you
This jacket didn't take a lot of work at all. As you see there are no lapels, collar, and it's unlined. Not a "real" jacket project because it lacks tailoring. Invest in tailoring books if you want to learn to sew a "perfect" jacket. Thanks!
Deletelove this look Erica!
ReplyDeleteThanks GV!
