Inspired by Pinterest: Weekend Wear | Denim on Denim with a White Blazer!

5:00 AM

For my Saturday look, I pulled inspiration from my favorite place -- Pinterest.

Inspired by Pinterest
From my Fashion board.

White, in the middle of January?  Hmmm...
It was sunny and the temps were mild, so this equals a fun fashion day and I took full advantage.

Worn with a DKNY chambray shirt, Gap jeans and cobalt blue wedges..
I hope the rest of your weekend is great!

  5. Loving the look! LOVE LOVE LOVE that poster. I hate when people ask those questions. Yes, we all follow some sort of fashion but a TRUE fashionista wears her clothes and doesn't let the clothes wear her! Make and follow your own rules! :)

Gorgeous outfit! Love this on you! I think white is really pretty in the wintertime (although I'm not sure I'm counting your weather as winter, haha).

    1. It gets cold. One day it'll be 70 degrees and the next day it'll be below freezing. This was a mild day. Thanks Ginger!

Love the look and you are right on trend (as usual) - Vogue has a spread on wearing denim on denim. I prefer your combo with the white jacket, though.

  9. Hi Erica,

I am new to your blog and already love your style! How much time did it take you to do this jacket ? What is your advice for sewing the perfect jacket ? I would be happy to have your ideas :).

    See you

    1. This jacket didn't take a lot of work at all. As you see there are no lapels, collar, and it's unlined. Not a "real" jacket project because it lacks tailoring. Invest in tailoring books if you want to learn to sew a "perfect" jacket. Thanks!
