So when I got up yesterday morning, it was 45 degrees and the weather lady was strongly suggesting putting on a coat or a jacket! O_O Really? It's it's almost May!!! For the first part of the morning, I had to actually turn on the heat in the car to take the chill off. And even though I ditched the jacket, long-sleeves were still needed.
Today I went with a light-weight sweater and my faux leather skirt I made for last fall.
Butt I still wanted to put on a pair of sandals.
And even though it was really, really windy, it was a good day to be out and about. But tomorrow, I'm staying home and not leaving unless it's a life-threatening medical emergency OR unless I want to! LOL
Wearing: white bandeau neck sweater: TJ Maxx; faux pleated leather skirt: Butterick 5285; heels: Zara; purse: Nine West (similar to this one); necklace: BCBG Max Azria.
I guess it's crazy weather all around the Country. It was 92 degrees on Saturday and today, it's cloudy with a chance of rain tomorrow. I guess I'll be pulling out the tights tomorrow but I too refuse to wear a jacket. Like the new do.
ReplyDeleteYes, very crazy weather. It'll be back in the high 80s by the end of the week. Not a new do, just lazy. LOL. Thanks Kelly!
DeleteGreat outfit.
ReplyDeleteWith the morning temps at 42 degrees, I pulled out my faux leather dress and couldn't decide on boots or peep toe pumps and ended up settling on another outfit.
I usually love temps like that... in the fall. I'm in such a spring state of mind that it's really annoying. Thanks Sheila!
DeleteI guess that, for you, "Beauty knows no pain." I gave up and dragged my woolen socks and jacket back out of the closet. NC mountains are just far enough west of me that we did not see the snowfall they got.
ReplyDeleteLinB, bless your heart. I know that this weather is on a fluke for us and it'll be warm again soon.
DeleteThanks Sing!
ReplyDeleteI really love your casual wear selections. Really speaks to me since I live in casual clothing. I wanted to mention how much I like your hair, it's so sophisticated, and you change it in cute ways that compliment your outfits nicely.
ReplyDeleteThanks Celeste Lux!
ReplyDeleteHi Erica
ReplyDeleteWhere do you get your faux leather?
Rae, I bought it late last Summer from Hancock.

ReplyDeleteJust found your blog by accident -- no by fate! You are one stylish lady. I am not too partial to the maxi look on most people, but you wear it nicely. Love all of your made garments -- very talented lady. Also, those sandals are super cute! I have put you on the top of my must read blogs. Looking forward to going through all of your postings!!! That mint dress you made your daughter was way too cute -- plus your family is also adorable.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
