I've been stalking the website since Peter posted his preview. The two Lialias are hard to pass up-- and I'm thinking maybe the Miyake (V1309) and Chado Ralph Rucci (V1310) as well.. It's nice to see the fresher styling!
I don't know... maybe after I see your versions, I'll like them better. For the most part, I find the pattern photos pretty uninspiring.
I do love a couple of them, though. The color-blocked dress is very chic and simple, and the Rachel Comey 1298 is perfect for summer. The Claire Shaeffer jacket, is, of course, perfection.
You have some nice selections here...the Kay Unger and the color blocked dress are giving my little heart palpitations! Can't wait to see your versions and go pattern shopping!
I will be buying the Chado Ralph Rucci for a mother-of-the-groom creation. Perfect, don't you think? The Marci Tilton dress is also calling my name for a major trip planned for next year! Comfy and packable.
I am loving all of these, some more than others like 1310, 1309, 1305 and 1298. Joann's has the Vogue patterns on sale this Saturday, 4/28, $3.99. I guess I just need to add these to my already overloaded stash. LOL!
I like a number of these as well as V8814 & V1306. I was all set to use one of the other "Chanel" jacket patterns (I haven't cut out the sleeves yet - only the body with large allowances) so I'm thinking of putting that project on hold until I can get this new version. So excited!!
Grace, I have a Chanel tweed that I bought from Gorgeous Fabrics 2 years ago that was around $50/yd! This is the PERFECT pattern for it and will do it justice! I can't wait to get it!
I've been waiting to make a Chanel-like jacket, but was waiting to build my skill level, this jacket will be perfect starter for me. The peplum shirt is adorable! The white dress is everything.
I am so glad to have your blog! Although I don't design clothing, I create several crafts. My latest is a set of cheetah print coasters. I believe that I will receive a great deal of inspiration from your blog. Many blessings! ~Cynthia
