I revisited an oldie but goodie! It's McCall's 5190, my military jacket that I made 3 1/2 years ago! I still love it and I've been wearing it every season since!
The high-low skirt is ABS by Allen Schwartz that I've had for eons. The orange tank was last seen here.
The boots are Sam Edelman and the bag is from Urban Outfitters.
As you can tell, Autumn is definitely my favorite season!
I remember that review (on SPR). How fun to see it again. It looks as good as ever. Perfect with the shot of orange against the blue of the skirt.
ReplyDeleteYou're looking very svelte!
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOlá Erica, adorei seu blog e suas costuras, são lindas e muito bem acabadas, parabéns pelo seu talento. Grande abraço do Brazil.

Thank you Adriana!
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite time of year too. I think it's because I love to layer...
ReplyDeleteYou have to layer here. It's 58 degrees in the morning and 75 by lunchtime!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! You are so fashionable and so spot on in your choices. You are now my new fashion guru. Why, just because I'm not 23 anymore, can't I look amazing? Well you've shown me I can--and that being a little fashion forward is a good thing, as well as being good with a needle and thread.
ReplyDeleteJust because you're of a "certain age" doesn't mean you should give up of fashion and style. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteErica, I've read your blog for ages: you have inspired & encouraged me so many times. I love it that an item that you made years ago is still a favourite- I'm sure if you had bought it as RTW you wouldn't feel the same about it. This jacket looks great with denim.
ReplyDeleteIt would have been gone long ago! I always have a higher appreciation for things I've made! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat layers...The orange sets it off!
ReplyDeleteFall and spring are my favourite seasons to get dressed for, I love layering as well and it suits my overall personal style best. I totally ripped off your look today except that my jacket was made with an old Vogue pattern.
ReplyDeleteLove this look, Erica! It's so me ;-)
