What I'm Wearing | Bouclé dress + Leather bomber
5:45 PM
Today was a perfect Autumn day and it came just in time for Thanksgiving.
Today, I ran last minute Thanksgiving Day errands (i.e. picked up my wine - a Malbec, Viognier and Chenin Blanc; turkey brine; a new white table cloth and cash money for some Black Friday shopping). A lot of people get carried away with sale prices on the day after Thanksgiving sales. I have learned to be disciplined. I set a budget, withdraw cash from the bank and when that money is gone, the shopping ends. No debt to pay off. It works for me.
Today, I pulled out my bouclé dress, a fitted black turtleneck, BCBG suede boots and a leather bomber. I decided to wear the dress as a jumper instead of underneath a cardigan as I did last year.
We have so much to be thankful for... we are truly blessed. And tomorrow I'm going to celebrate and get my eat on with those that I love the most!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

ReplyDeleteI love boucle! And I love your dress! You look soo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove it. I've been wearing a lot of turtlenecks under dresses too, I love the look. I like the boots too. Cash is definitely the way to go. This year though I'm going to get one thing, and one thing only, that front loader washer and dryer set at Sears and I'm out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sistu!
ReplyDeleteKelly, I would be happy with the front loaders!
ReplyDeleteDress is so funky. Just up my street.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sassy T!

ReplyDeleteLove that bag and those boots top it off!
ReplyDeleteI love wearing this type of dresses over turtlenecks! It makes them twice as versatile, and achieves a great casual look!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tany. I knew when I made this dress that I'd wear it as a jumper.
