I can't wait to see your next hankerchief dress. I did not see the price of the dresses at first sight, they are a big incentive to grab the sewing machine or the needle.

Have just been evaluating my pattern stash for summer sewing, and came across at least three patterns from the early 80s with handkerchief hems. I wasn't brave enough to wear them then, but have lately become a member of the "It Don't Matter" club. I can't stand the thought of my fat old torso in the disco-era spaghetti-strapped tiny bodices, but I will definitely steal the skirts and attach them to something more age-appropriate. Thanks for reminding me of this style, which is ultra-feminine without being icky-poo frou-frou.

I'll be keeping my eyes open to see what you post in the very near future :)
